During my recent business trip to the Philippines, I had the pleasure of staying at Slam's Garden Dive Resort in Malapascua, and it surely exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is perfect; just a short stroll to the beach and main harbor, making it easy for us to explore the local restaurants. I particularly loved how clean and spacious our room was, and the air purifier was a thoughtful touch for a restful night after our dives. The vibe of Slam's was pure tranquility, which is so important when you're juggling professional responsibilities. My friends and I took full advantage of the in-house restaurant; I highly recommend the local dishes-simple yet bursting with flavor! Plus, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. And speaking of adventure, the dive school at the resort was fantastic! Our guides were knowledgeable and patient, making it a joy to dive with the incredible thresher sharks. All in all, Slam's Garden Dive Resort is a hidden gem that balances comfort with a sense of community, perfect for travelers looking to soak in the local culture while unwinding by a stunning pool. I would definitely return!
